POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

To secure your event date Lovely Cakes will decline other work. For that reason, $100.00 of your order payment is non-refundable.

For orders canceled with at least 7 days' notice: we will refund the paid amount minus $150. ($50 from the processing fee and $100 from your paid invoice)

If your order is canceled with less than 7 days' notice: we will not issue any refund and if your cake is not paid in full you are still liable to pay the balance due.

DESIGN CHANGE POLICY

Minor changes may be made up to 7 days in advance.

Major changes in any order require at least 15 days' advance notice.

QUOTE POLICY
​

Dates and cake price quotes are held from the date of the quote or consultation until 14 business days

thereafter. If we do not receive a 50% deposit within 14 days, your date and quote may become unavailable.

 

 

PAYMENT POLICY

For orders totaling $500 or less payment in full is required upon receiving the invoice. 

For orders over $500 you may pay a 50% deposit and the remaining balance must be paid at pick-up or 7 days before delivery.

Balance on wedding cakes must be paid 15 days before the wedding date.

Payments can be made by: Cash, Venmo, Check, or Debit/Credit Card.

Payment made by Debit/Credit Cards has a 3% surcharge to account for processing fees.

STAND RENTAL POLICY
​

Rented items should be returned to the studio within 14 days of the event date.

Your credit card will be charged the initial stand rental price for every additional

5-day return delay unless other arrangements are made.

A replacement fee of $200 will be charged if the rented stand is not returned.

PICK UP POLICY

​

If you elect to pick up and set up your cake, you assume all

liability for the integrity of the cake once it leaves our possession.

 

 

SET UP POLICY
​

Lovely Cakes is not responsible for any damage to the cake

after setup is complete and we have left the premises.
